Aquarium with Grandpa and Hiking; Last Weeks' Fun

Grandpa treated us to the Cleveland Aquarium last weekend. It was pretty awesome. Harvey loved touching the rays and looking at the sharks and eels.

Then we went for a hike at Salt Fork Lake this past week. It was 83 degrees and the humidity was around 99% and then it rained on us; then it got really hot. It was muddy and buggy but we made it. We had lots of bug spray. The bugs are an issue here. They are everywhere! But it has been a good summer for lightening bugs.
H loved to sit on the dock. He was trying to wrap his brain around the fact that they were floating on the water.

Refueling on the way back. The trail was 1.8 miles but the heat got to both Squeakie and Harvs. It was a long walk out.
Harvey is way up on the hill with the wooden sheep at the homesite.
 Harvey is this hardcore!

Squeakie struggled quite a bit on this hike. Her hiking days are nearing an end. :(
I want a house built of limestone blocks. This picture is not so great because it was cloudy, but this 150+ year old house was BEAUTIFUL! I want one.
Our morning's work last Friday; well for about 20 minutes anyway!

Love the photos! Looks like lots of fun for Harvey and you. Squeaky looks very tired! :( Nice creative car line-up! Miss you two tons! Love, Nanna

We miss you too! It was a hot and sticky hike, but it was wonderful to be in the woods again.
