Halloween Lateness!

We went to Polson for a super fun time with our neighbors and friends! Harvey was Darth Vador, I went as Mom.

We are HOME!

After an epic saga we are finally in our own home. I feel for families who do not have a stable living situation. It TOTALLY SUCKS! However, H has his own room again and he is super excited about it. I have my own room again too! We love our new home and we can almost see the lake. We do have three apple trees in our field and the apples were soon good. A bear thought so too! We even have neighbor horses!

I need to get H's first day of school pic up!!!! No internet for a month has been hell!

New House in 1 or 2 weeks and Pumpkins!!

So our saga about the house is hopefully at an end. We have a new place lined up without arsenic and bacteria in the water and horse pasture. We have a horse all lined up, that we must steal, because we love him and he loves us (really, truly). Anyway, we are in M town with Eric and here are my first pumpkins ever from seed.

We have internet again!!!! So much has been happening and I have had NO time to post any of it!!! Dad came to visit in August (see pics below). H started Kindergarden, such a BIG deal, and I have one pic to show for it (not posted below); ARGH!!! I was staring a new teaching job at the same school and our living situation resembles ancient and some current nomadic civilizations as we await our new house to move into. We are commuting 45min each way and we DO NOT like to be in the car for long. H is adapting to K and I am LOVING my new job (1-2 and 5-6); oh Montana and your small schools! We are both going to Dayton School in Dayton, MT. We will be getting our new house this weekend with coliform bacteria and arsenic in our well. Both have been professionally treated, but man arsenic is a major issue around Flathead Lake. Kinda scary!! We are officially lake people now and H has requested a paddle board from Santa ($1200 aught to do it!). H LOVES to paddle board!

 So we used to be the WarPigs how AWESOME! and then some parents had a funk and the students voted for the Flathead Lake Monster ( a true legendary beast) and the parents threw a fit and now we are the adorable Dayton (baby) Eagles.

Today on campus Harvey scored new, awesome sunglasses from the College Republicans booth. This is the only time I have received anything free from a Republican.

Where's Waldo WINNER!!!

We entered the Where's Waldo local business contest during the last week of July. We went everywhere! And we biked to over 90% of the places we needed to go to search for Waldo. It was so fun! H won a Waldo pin and he was selected for a Major Award! He won the Waldo Postcard Book as seen below. We went to Butterfly Herbs for a victory huckleberry shake!

Urban Deer of Doom

We have a mama with twins (still in spots) as regulars around the house. The babies can't get into the yard, but the mama is a regular napper next to the greenhouse. Here she is reacting to Bean and Lou. She is one aggressive deer!
