The Newest Addition to our Family!!!! Plus a Recent Day at the Park!

Okay I finally broke down and got us a kitty last Saturday. Harvey LOVES this kitty. He likes to carry her all around, chase her and put her exactly where he wants her. She almost matches Squeakie perfectly, (who was not as excited as Harvey about this addition), but she is a tiger brown, mocha if you will, instead of black. She is ADORABLE. An all around super nice kitty! We are still working out names; Harvey likes Bub, which is the name of Rebecca and Pete's kitty, but I am leaning towards Cicely Alaska or Penny Lane.

As you can see, Harvey LOVES to carry the kitty all around. She is an excellent sport about this.

We went to the park last Sunday, the day after kitty day. We had so much fun!!! The kitty and Harvey needed a reprieve from one another. I am happy to report that on day five (today) Harvey has calmed down considerably on the kitty front.

Creating Art with Mama Instead of Sleeping!!!

Harvey has decided, much to my dismay, that his bedtime is around 10pm. Argh! So one night last week I decided to start a drawing. After I finally let Harvey out of his bed (after much crying and jumping up and down in his bed (over 35 min worth)) he promptly pulled his basket of crayons off of the bookshelf and began coloring. It was his own idea. I LOVE our collaborative effort!

Market, Carousel and Long Nap Afterwards; Plus Pics from the past few weeks!

We met our neighbours at the market today and we decided to have ourselves a carousel ride! Harvey smiled the whole first ride and he had a great time on his second ride. (They make the Mama's ride behind the little ones instead of standing beside them.)
