Not Much Happening Hence the Lack of Blogs

Hello, I have been working, reading and sleeping quite a bit the past few weeks. I do begin my on-call job at Community Hospital tomorrow. I have to get up pretty early so this is going to be short and not very exciting.

I have gained a bit more weight, I am up to 160 now! The baby moves only when I am laying down. Standing on my feet all day makes my stomach hang way out. I will post a picture of us as soon as possible.

All of the animals are doing great. Micco has decided that it is time to blow some of her winter coat. It is still cold and wintery so I don't know what she is thinking! She has epic hair loss!

I still need to sell my truck and I really don't want to :(

And, I am going to have a First Friday Art showing of some of my drawings in April! First Friday happens every first friday in Missoula and several stores downtown and a few studios stay open late and show local artists and provide free beer and wine. I am very excited about this. I do need to finish a few more drawings for a series that I began last month.

Cheers!

22 Week Baby Doctor Appointment

I had my five month visit on Tuesday. The doctor said that my ultrasound was normal and that the baby weighs 10 oz. I had gained 7.5 pounds putting me at my all time high of 158.5. I am only big around my belly, so that is nice. I need to exercise more, 30 min walks everyday, so I am about to take the girls on the river trail. It is really wet as the temp has risen. Slushy and icy, not my favorite walking conditions. Ah, I do have these things that you put on the bottom of your shoes with metal spikes. Where did I put those?

I started work at Macy's and the 20% discount is going to be pretty awesome (once I have some money again!). I have an erratic schedule, but I am only working 20-26 hrs a week there. I did get an interview at Community Hospital for an on-call ER secretary. I should know by tomorrow if I got that job. I think I did!! And it could turn into a full time job in April. Not the best timing, but it would be nice to come back to a full time job.

I Start Working again Tomorrow

Today is my last day of freedom. I start working at Macy's tomorrow morning after my doctors appointment. I have to get some black pants that fit me, a challenge. I also registered at Target yesterday with Dave. I think I had more fun than he did, but he was a trooper. He even missed some football. The registry name is Season's Baby Registry. Super original, I know.

It is snowing today and I have to venture to the bank. It is actually snowing pretty hard. I am not sick of winter yet. I am still loving the snow.

After Taking a Census Test for Employment You do This

I applied for a temp census job where I get to use a GPS! Fun!! I will let you all know if I was US Census worthy. And this is what I did when I got home. Apple computers are way too much fun. Why can't I get paid to do this???

The Fruits of Unemployment

Thanks to my awesome housemate, Ali, a gift of creativity was given to me for Christmas. And since  I am super unemployed, with many hours of the day to fill, when I am not looking for a job that is, I have so much time to create these creatures. They come from socks and the brain of a creative man who wrote a great book.  The big teal/blue guy is my creation. And I hope to make many more.

They are all made by hand, but I am working on my sewing machine skills so I can make them a bit faster.  If anyone would like one send me some socks! I am running out. Enjoy!

Oh, and a Happy 2009 to us all! I celebrated this year sans drink, it was odd, but fine.
