Glacier International Park, Logan Pass Today!

We decided as a family to head north to the land of the glaciers. It was cloudy, but still a beautiful day.Harvey had a great time taking pictures (as you will see).  He did a pretty awesome job, I thought. His filmography makes you feel like you are climbing the pass with us.
Hang on I am posting MANY!
Enjoy :)

All pics taken by H unless he is in them and a few at the top.
They are in chronological order as we are ascending the pass.

Love this one, you can see him in the mirror taking the pic with the iPad; oh, and the waterfall!

The shining ribbon of the Flathead River, far, far below, and some glaciers!
My coffee cup, but more importantly the lovely waterfall!

 Glaciers!
The only real sun we saw today at the park.
Pretty fall colors! The aspens were quaking in yellow today.

At the pass, whew! We made it. Harvey's gift of this trip was a stuffed wolf.

 Our band cover art.
 I don't want to take a picture.
 Okay, I'll do it!

A super cool spot coming down with purple rocks and waterfalls falling into pools of that famous green looking water.

Blacktail Bike Riding Yesterday

It was so BEAUTIFUL yesterday, we just had to get out for a ride. We drove 20 miles (one way) to get to the trail head. We left Lilly at home, because last time she ran off and managed to get two other dogs to chase her for about 20 minutes, but of course no one was there, and she would have been fine. I do think she is the type of dog to bring a bear to us, so it was nice to have a relaxing ride (no bears!).

We hiked out to a big rock for a view of Flathead Lake; this was through a recent logging operation.

Post bike ride pic; Me: lets get a picture of us, H: I don't like selfies.

Then we went to Tamarack for ice-cream! What a fun day!
This is what I would look like as a 60 year old man.
