I had another appointment on Monday (yesterday) and I had put on two pounds in two weeks. The baby feels huge and moves all of the time now. I am progressing right along and my doctor said that I should be walking 2 miles a day so that I will be in shape to have a natural childbirth. Since I will be working only one job, I will have the time and energy to do so.
Dave and I went to birth class last Saturday and it pretty much confirmed all of my fears; that this is going to hurt. The epidural was the scariest part. I really don't want one of those or the C-section. Lets all hope for the best.
I should have all of my stuff moved in this week and hope to be all unpacked by the time my Dad gets here on the 4th. That is the day of my baby shower. I am really looking forward to getting some more baby stuff! The crib should be set up by then too.
Not much else for now. I am starting my 3-12hr shifts at the hospital tonight. I am already tired!

Third Ultrasound
Hello all. I finally have a minute to update this dealie. I had an ultrasound last Wednesday and everything looks great. The baby weighs 4.5 pounds +/- 10oz. This baby is going to be huge at this rate! I feel huge and I am now entering a constant state of agony as my ribcage slowly turns itself inside out. I swear the front of my ribs are now a part of my back. Tylenol is really helping, thank God, because that is the only thing I can take for the pain.
Well Dave and I have moved into our newly remodeled urban apartment. I still have tons of stuff to move out of my old house by the end of the month, but Dave is assuring me that it will get done. I just want to hire movers to move everything at once so I can just get it all put away. I may break down and do this even if I have to put it on my Visa. I just want some downtime! I am still working both jobs, and presently I get Mondays off. I need to get several more drawings done by mid April and then I need to get them all matted! And then I am going to have a baby. I feel pretty stretched right now.
Merlin is doing very well. Now that he has mastered the alphabet he has moved on to spelling. I try to teach him a new word every time I see him. So far he can spell his name, Dad, big, Toyota (my truck), and today I taught him fun. He can spell these words without looking at them. And today he looked at Dave's shirt and spelled Roma and asked, " What does that spell"? Pretty cool for a 2.5 year old.
Well my battery is about to die and I am not exactly sure where the cord is! Argh!
Hope everyone is well!
Squeakie is super stoked about the move!

30 Week Checkup
Hello, I am finally getting back on track with this blog. I had my 7th month checkup yesterday and everything is looking really good. The checkups are so brief, which is a good thing, but I guess I expected more. I will have a routine ultrasound next Wednesday to see how big the baby is and I have to start going the the Dr. every two weeks. The "end" is quickly approaching.
Dave and I found a great apartment and we rented it this week. We are going to move in the middle of the month as we are both paying March rent where we currently live. We are giving up house life to move closer to downtown. The farmer's and people's markets as well as the second, new location of the Kettlehouse (one of our local breweries) are only a few blocks away, and a nice park in the Rattlesnake is less than a miles walk. I feel like our new place is quite urban. It has been completely remodeled and therefore, looks brand new. We have a huge fenced in yard for Micco. We are on the second floor of this old house, so we all have some steps to climb. I am fine with this as my exercise routine generally is lacking. I will post pictures as soon as we move in.
Today I start my first three day shift at the hospital working nights. I am keeping my Macy's job for now as well for several reasons: I still have not heard if I actually got the position at Community, I have maternity leave built up with Macy's and I really need the money. So I think I can do this for two months. Maybe? I will be working everyday, but I only put in five hours at Macy's a shift.
I have finally begun the process of selling my truck. It will be posted this week on craigslist. I am nearly over the fact that the carseat will not fit in my truck. I love my truck, but I bet I will love the baby even more :)
It was around 50 degrees yesterday so we took advantage and played in the treehouse.
