These are the kinds of drawings I have been doing for the baby.
Greetings! I had yet another baby appointment today. My doctor feels my stomach and says "six eight." And it took me a second to put these numbers together. The baby weighs six pounds eight ounces! I have just under five weeks to go. She said no more junk food, not that I have been eating much anyway. I have only gained 27 pounds, and I feel pretty good. The baby's head is down and it feels like it is dropping everyday. I have to waddle a bit when I walk now. I have to go back at the end of next week for a pelvic exam. Fun, Fun!
In other news. I am nearly settled into my new place. I really like where I am living now. I am sad to report that Jack the Cat is still living with my old housemate. I miss him and feel irresponsible for leaving him, but I did not do such a great job in renting a place that would allow him to come and go as he pleases. And he pleases to come and go quite a bit. The kitties on the Northside (where I live now) are pretty burly and I don't know how Jack would stand up. So if my old housemate ever moves I will take him back and I will be providing for his care.
This is me in my little office at the hospital where I have been able to get several drawings completed.
I have nearly completed enough drawings for the show on May 1st. I still can't believe that I am going to put my drawings up for others to see in such a public setting. I will post the show when I get it set up. I still need to mat all of them and I am not looking forward to this task.
