Duck Pond and Mowing

We went to the Duck Pond the other day and took some fun shots. Our new neighborhood does not have a brewerey but it does have a wetland. I'm still getting used to suburbia.

We went to Holland Lake today! I had never been there and it was pretty awesome. So here we are in the canoe that we rented for 20 minutes. A big storm came in and moved our fun to the dining room where we had a lovely lunch. 

 H really wanted to take a kayak out; all by himself.

 We hiked 3 miles taking turns carrying this huge sack of potatoes. H loved the waterfall and wanted to get closer and closer to it.

Notice Harvey's bandaid. He picked up a yellowjackt abdomen this morning and the stinger got stuck in his thumb. It was pretty traumatic for him and me.

 Squeakie did awesome, but was pretty tired on the way out. She is such a trooper. It rained on us on the way out but it was nice and warm

Happy Belated 4th of July! From H and E via Mommy

Here we are days after the Fourth of July, but at least I am posting the pictures of things that occurred not on the fourth but for the fourth so we are copacetic.

Oh Yeah, We Have a New House and Stuff!

The House is a work in progress...it may never be finished!!! But it is pretty fun, most of the time, trying to get it accomplished. I apologize in advance for any misspellings. I have been studying and should still be doing so so my brain is mushy.

 Here is our still unpainted dining room.I have one wall painted and then took a major break.  I did hang some stuff up because I just can't live in a house with bare walls!!! Eric's new shirt is on the chair. It is pretty.

 Here is the one painted wall in the dining room (the arch). The kitchen needs a better color of green.

 Here is H's room. Cars, it's is all I can say.

 We are so fancy with our new table, chairs and umbrella. Oh and E's grill is new too!

Found Moab Pics and Updates

So long since blogged! Argh, I have been doing the summer school thing and new house thing so blogging has fallen woefully short on my long list of things to accomplish. This Friday marks my last big test for grad school a comprehensive exam. Argh! I am almost ready for it. And I am still doing my online class on Curriculim Design. That is a crazy realm. I found these lost Moab pics and wish more often than not that we were back there. Harvey is doing awesome and using the potty more and more. He is super motivated to go to preschool. So far this is a bit tricky. Keep you fingers crossed that we can get into the one that best fits our life. Otherwise it will be daycare for a bit longer. H needs more of a challenge we all know it. We just need a chaffeur!
