Super Fun Pics from this Weekend with Amy and her Fam

Harv is still teething like crazy. The slobber monkeys are getting out of control! He is putting everything in his mouth, his mama's shoulder, her arm, her fingers, her face, his fingers, all of his toys, the straps of his carrier when he is in it, everything! I hope those teeth cut through soon.

We are all Finally on Skype and Teething ;(

Nana Barb and G-Pa Dave were able to see us via Skype this past week. They do not yet have a camera, but we did, so they were able to see us; soon we will be able to see them. It was fun, and as Harvey gets older, he will be able to talk to his family, while looking at them, all at the time!

Today was a rough day for the wee man. The side teeth on his lower gums were very white and swollen today and he has a congested cough. Poor little guy. I called the nurse and she said that I could give him some Tylenol. When I finally did he was so tired that after he swallowed it he fell asleep! He slept for two hours, this is the longest nap he has taken since he was a one month old baby; it was awesome and sad due to the circumstances. He woke up screaming and I had such a hard time soothing him today. I was going to stay home from work, but when my sitter showed up he was the happiest he had been all day. So I gave him some more Tylenol and fed him hoping that he would fall to sleep, he did, but when I tried to lay him down he woke up :(

Poor little guy. He will be with Amy soon; she is a super experienced mama who will take super good care of him for the night for me (and him!). 

Fun Times with Wee Harv in August

Well, our new roommate arrived on Wednesday. Harvey seems to like her just fine. Micco also likes her, as do I. Having another person around will be a nice change for all of us. It has been really hot again this week ;(, but I think fall is in the air!

Here are some new pictures and a video of the wee one taken this week. And at our 4 month checkup the wee one weighed 17.9 pounds! He is in the 90th percentile for weight and the 10-25 for length and head circumference. He had three shots; the nurses asked me to hold his arms down, and as I leaned over him holding his arms to his side, he gave his mama a huge smile and then they stuck him! That was such bad timing; it just breaks my heart to think of it :(

This is wee Harv's rocking new Chicco car seat. Thanks Nanna Barb and G-Pa Dave! Now we and Amy have a seat for the baby with a base! We are super safe now!

This is KimJae my other baby sitter. We had a rough few hours on Saturday. I no longer want to take a bottle from ANYONE, but Mama. This is something Harv needs to get over soon!

This is me chewing on the corner of the book Mamma bought for me in Sand Point. I love to put things in my mouth and "chew" on them. I thought some teeth were coming in, but none yet. Lots of slobber monkeys however!

Harvey is 4 Months Old!

Yes, finally a big smile was captured on digital "film". What a cutie! He really smiles quite a bit for his mama. He has his four month check up on Wednesday. Hopefully no shots!

Now this next piece of baby swag was given to us by Oliver's Mom and we really like to swing! The jungle animals above are so fun to look at!

Wee Harvey's First Vacation; Post #2...

Well we made it back to Missoula today with minimal screaming in the car. We followed Maribeth most of the way. We then stopped to pick up Squeakie in Arlee. We really missed her! We had such a relaxing, WONDERFUL time. I was sad for it to end. If we could only be on vacation forever, ahhh....we went to the beach, rode on a boat across a super deep lake, ate some yummy pizza, had delicious dinners every night and great coffee in the morning. We went to an art fair, and up Sweitzer Mountain to pick huckleberries. And Mama cut all of her hair off! Here are some more fun pics!

Here we are at Starbucks so my Mam could get online. I slept most of the time, but then I woke up and was super happy about it!

Wee Harvey's First Vacation; Post #1...

We are still on our trip and he is sleeping at Starbucks so this will most likely be a brief post. Harvey is doing great in Idaho! He has lots of kids to look at and lots of family to hold him. All very experienced mamas! 

Clark Fork Market and We LOVE Amy + More Proof that Squeakie Loves Harvey

This morning Harvey and I rolled down to see Aunt Rebecca and Bryce at their new booth at the market. They are selling native plant seeds and they had an awesome first day! Way to go guys. 

Harvey slept so great last night for his mama, after a trying evening where he would not be put down, not even for a second! 

        

Here is wee Harv with his au pair Amy. He sure does smile when he sees her! Thanks Amy for being such a great person in Harvey's life and allowing his mam to work! We really love you!

See, Squeakie loves her baby Harv. She laid down right next to him yesterday. Now, when she is near him she gives him a lick on the hand or foot. Speaking of hands, Harvey has 99.9% found his thumb! How exciting! Since he will not take a binkie, this is great news! I think by next week, he will have it down pat; right now he puts his first finger and his thumb in at the same time. He did have just his thumb in for a bit and he looked pretty happy! He will not let mama help him, so he is free to continue to discover this on his own.
