2 Month Check Up

Harvey is just over two months old! He weighs 11 pounds 3 oz and is 22 inches long! He is doing so well for being born three weeks early! He was not feeling so well this past week, but he is on the mend and is sleeping for Mommy again.

Oh, he did get a vaccination and it was so horrible! I am not looking forward to more of those, as I am sure Harvey would be happier not have any more shots like those.

I am at work so I must go :(

Thanks to All My Friends

Thanks guys for pulling together and helping me get a sitter, for graveyard shifts, at the last minute! You guys rock! Harvey is currently in excellent care with a wonderful person. She is super cute and works in a daycare, thanks Amy!

The chicken pox are going around, so watch out Missoula.

Harvey update: He has been super fussy during the day. He will eat, fall asleep and only stay asleep for 10-15min at a time. He does this for hours. I am not sure what is bothering him. He does sound like he had a cold; his first one. Poor little guy! Maybe that it what is making him so fussy? He is 10.5 pounds and his hair is starting to look pretty red!

Big Grandpa D and the Wee Babe

After a minor delay in North Dakota, Dad and Barb arrived! They came on my 31st Birthday and we all went out to dinner. It was lovely! Then I had to go back to work the next day and the following two days. Luckily for them, I had the day shift, but I work 12hrs at a time. So they really got some quality time with the wee babe. He did really well for them and thoroughly enjoyed himself I am sure. Micco even got more walks than usual! We all had a super fun visit and we were sad to see them go :( Harv and I should be home for Christmas so we will get to see everyone then. 

Thank you again Nanna Barb and Big D for all of the awesome presents. Harvey now has a really lovely crib and a bouncy chair and lots of new diapers!

It is day two of back to work for mom and I miss the little guy already. I have been here for about an hour. We did get quite a bit of sleep last night, thank goodness! When I left him, he was in his swing looking pretty tired. Barb and Dad have him again today. I am so glad that they are here to help out.

Harvey is seven weeks old this week. He is growing so much!

Dad and Barb Arrived!

After an emergency landing in Bismark, ND Dad and Barb arrived in Missoula yesterday. Today is my first day back at work and it is going by pretty fast. They brought the baby in for me around noon so I could nurse him. He is taking the bottle really well, but I still want to feed him at least once during my shift. This week I am working days, and it is back to nights next week. I have an opportunity to work days, but I would have to work 6 12hr shifts in a row (with 7 day off following). I don't want to be away from the baby that much; and I am used to being up all of the time anyway. 

He is doing great. He weighs 9.5 lbs and is getting so chubby! He is being a good boy for Dad and Barb today. Micco even got an early morning walk with Dad. 

Here We Are Again!

Harvey is doing so well, we should have a new check up soon. He is gaining loads of weight and staying awake longer and longer. I have to go back to work next week, but Dad and Barb will be here to watch the wee one. Harvey will be going either to Glacier or Yellowstone NP. Fun Fun!
