Post Christmas Post Posting

We all had a lovely Christmas this year. I went a bit overboard with the number of presents Harvey received, but so far he has not turned into a toy monster, so alls well that ends well. This year it was cars, cars, cars. Eric even got a car. Socks and books were also big this year. Harvey is all stocked up on jammies too! Thanks everyone for the wonderful gifts. Cheers!

This was taken this morning at breakfast. So typical. Harvey also needs all of his trucks and cars in his bed when he goes to sleep. There isn't much room for him anymore!
The present opening begins.
Wow! Harvey's big gift this year. So far he really, really likes it!
Harvey put all of his cars on the third level. They pretty much just park there and we look at them, and talk about them a lot.
Harvey looking so swank for Christmas lunch/dinner at Jerry's house.
Harvey had fun playing with Olive's wagon and dolls and the other kiddos.
This is a hat, right?

Going to Jackson

We went to Jackson to enjoy the hot springs two weekends ago. This was Harvey's first time in the hot water. He loved it. I didn't have my camera to take a picture of him in his cute little swim diaper, needless to say, he was adorable. Thank goodness there was a pool noodle as this entertained the wee wain for a long time.

An awesome shot of me in the truck. Quite crowded it was; I need a bigger vehicle.
RR break for Squeakie.
Harvey and Eric at our lovely dinner.
Harvey with our room key. They did have more snow there than at home.

Squeakie in our room. We had two beds and a fireplace.

Last Saturday

Ho Ho update; H keeps requesting two garbage trucks for Christmas. He even almost told Santa on Sunday at the Made Fair. He told me as we sat next to Santa. This was the first time H has talked to the Big Man.

On Saturday we went to the Children's Museum; a huge favorite with the wee man. We played with the shopping carts for over 30 minutes and then H actually wanted to play in the back. He played with the trucks and blocks the most. I was surprised to find him wanting to play in the dinosaur pit! He had a great time digging and putting the "dirt" into a bucket. He also played at the water table for a bit. The Children's Museum is a huge lifesaver for me. It is a great place to get out lots of energy!

Just look at that digging action! There are buried bones and eggs but H doesn't care too much about them yet.
Yes, we are into stacking the trucks. And when we are not doing that we like rolling them all over the museum.
This pic is from a few weeks ago when we went to the Top Hat for family night. I love how he is sitting there with other kids and listening so intently to the music. I think he sat for about two minutes. He generally runs all over the place and I spend the whole time chasing him. It is a great work out for us both.

Last Weekend and This Weekend

Here we are loaded up and ready to head downtown to the Festival of Lights, which occurred during the day. We went to Bernice's Bakery and decorated a cookie then went to the Bridge for lunch. It was SUPER COLD that day so we made one more stop at the ZACC. Harvey made a card that he really likes will post soon.

Harvey's decorated cookie. Quite nice!
Time to eat, yum, yum.

This weekend we went to the Children's Museum on Saturday and to the MADE Fair today. Here is an awesome shot of Harvey in 48 years. This was taken tonight at bath time.

Park Today and a Thanksgiving Hike

This morning we went to the park after an intense 15 minute snowstorm, which yielded about a half inch of snow. We were sad that it stopped.

Off to a great start!

The house of awesomeness!
Time to lick some snow off of these steps.
Just a little cutie pie.
Snowballs and swinging on my belly.
Still eating my snowball and hitching a ride on our way home.

Last night we went for a nice hike after a delicious dinner. So yummy!! The turkey turned out sooooo good. Harvey took a late nap so when he awoke he was in no mood to be thankful and eat his yummy dinner. (I am happy to report at after the park today he ate quite a bit of turkey and stuffing). The hike was awesome and we looked out for monsters the whole time. The weather was perfect and I carried H 98% of the way, which I found amazing and surprising.

On the way up.

Missoula on T-day.
The Time Machine made the trip as did Micco's paws.
It was a dark and not stormy trail...

A nice short break for the mama.

Heading back down.
Harvs taking it all in.

A Thanksgiving Eve Posting

A day in the life of Penny Lane...
I think that I will ride my car for a while whilst in my jammies.
Clearly Penny will make the ride more enjoyable.
Yeah, this is much better for everyone involved.
