Harvey's New Love - UNO

Harvey included Squeakie in our evening UNO game. She played well.

This is us at Sunset School's The Grinch Who Stole Christmas play night on the 20th. H's old preschool teacher was there! She painted a cat for him. He looked awesome!

Penny Lane

We went to Eric's last weekend to do some laundry and hang out.  We also had lots of quality time with Penny! Here are a few pics.
Harvey in his beach wear and Pen Pen.
 Lazy boys and Penny.
Look closely and you will see Penny and two deer! Awesome shot Eric!

November Post!

I have been really slacking this year on our posts! Here is H after our first real snow this past Saturday. He is adorned in his new winter gear. Thanks Amber and Laura! Nana and Papa stopped by on Saturday too to see our new place! We had an awesome visit.

H on Wheels II

Sorry for the blurry photo. One day I will buy a camera. This is H on our new property. This rad ride was already here. This is one happy, lucky kiddo!

Our Mini-Vacay at Ambers's and a hike at Virginia Kendal

The Garner's rock for letting us stay for a bit at their dwelling. Harvey and Mitch will one day be the best of buds....These pics are of our last days with Amber as we went on a BEAUTIFUL hike along a hidden gem in Ohio.

Harvey and Mama looking over "The Cliffs of Insanity."

Amazing Tree!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! X2

In the "Den of Terror." Silly chipmunk!

I really wanted one of those embedded white rocks.
This pic makes H look so small.

Mountain Biking with Training Wheels

We ventured on the Towpath trail again - with training wheels and a pedal bike. H did awesome! I was nervous for him, but he was amazing. Who knew that training wheels and and unpaved trail mixed. We did see a spooky snake in a tree!!!! I totally freaked me out.

Finally, Harvey was able to use his umbrella last week. It rained hard!

Harvey's First Pedal Bike!

Okay so Lou is the main feature of this photo, but if you look closely you can see the H-man riding first pedal bike. We have been fighting the training wheels; I want them off, he wants them on.

Driving Mr. Hobbs and Tappan Lake

Harvey spent his Sunday driving Hobbs around in the Mustang and slipping and sliding for the first time. We went to a friend's 1st birthday party at Tappan Lake and they had an epic slip and slide. I had midwest fare as Harvey would not try it. He had lots of candy and yummy cake. It was a pretty awesome Sunday for all!

Hobbs rode around for over 15 minutes. I think he actually liked it.

Sunday Fun-day

The humidity monster was back yesterday. We had a few humidity free days last week and I am forever spoiled. Harvey seems unaffected by this awful meteorological state. He has been driving the Nustang and going to evening fires. Two this weekend! He played so well with my friend's two-year old. Usually H is the youngest in the play groups around here.

We scored our neighbor's sidewalk chalk. She has the good stuff!

Squeakie and Dad's flowers.

Good Summer Fun (Yesterday)

Luckily for Harvey, and me sometimes, the neighbors have a trampoline. These are major fixtures in the Midwest. We only wish that Grandpa had one, but then he would have to deal with it when mowing. H loves to bounce with the next door gal.
Here is Hobbs, in the wagon, and Lou. This is Hobbs new reality, sitting or laying in the wagon being hauled everywhere. He is plotting an escape here as he had grown tired of watching us all jumping on the trampoline.

Mama's Day 2013: Getting Caught Up Here :)

Here is the beautiful card Harvey made for me at school. He is holding a sign that says Happy Mother's Day. It is my most favorite card. He also colored a coffee mug for me.
This is the most adorable boo boo EVER. It was a perfect heart.
H and me around Mama's Day.
This is the best picture of us. The BEST.
Harvey has been into making funny faces at the camera.
Funny Faces.

Hobbs and His New Ride

Harvey is partaking in an old pastime of mine; pulling the wagon! Under the green sled is Chase's cat Hobbs. Harvey pulled him around yesterday for quite a while. Today we went around the block. He seems to like these little outings.

Harvey loaded up his stuffed animals a few days ago and we went around the block with our neighbor. They play together pretty well.
These are old Akron Zoo pics that I found on my phone.
Harvey spent a while on this tractor; of course.
 Watching the train go by.
Here is H taking a break during our ride at Zoar. We did this trip a week or so ago. It is so pretty on this trail. I biked it on Sunday all by myself. I had a great ride!

Zoar Harvest Festival Today!

Harvey is getting better and better at walking for longer periods of time as demonstrated at the Harvest Festival at Zoar.  We walked for about three hours and we took a ride on a horse drawn wagon. The town is amazing and is the first communal settlement in the US. Lots of the original buildings are there and you can go in them to see all of the awesome old timey stuff. There were also some old toys and games that the kids could play with. Harvey tried the stilts. There was a HUGE antiques tent that I could have spent at least and hour in; H gave me about 10 minutes.

This is what Zoar looks like today. I actually took this photo today.
Here were some local towns folk. Very friendly and willing to share.
Here is a map of the garden that is still in the center of town. Pretty awesome! They had lots of flowers and nice music.

Akron Zoo Last Week: Awesome!

We heart the Akron Zoo. It was just big enough that Harvey could walk the whole time! No elephants, but they did have two lions and a tiger. I wish we lived closer so that we could get a pass and go every weekend.

Yesterday we went "fishing" at the lagoon. No hooks yet, we tie a matchbox car to the end of the line and practice casting. He is doing awesome. We had fun until a sassy Mallard female flew to the lake and took charge of the ladies already present. She did not like Squeakie and she let us know it.
Quack, Quack, Quack!
