Harvey's Sweet Sweet Train Table

Here are some photos of the train table we got a great deal on last week. Harv loves to eat the trains, so we have not been playing with them too much. The table is the right height for him to stand. We usually keep the cover on and play with our toys on top.

And I forgot to mention that Harvey is getting three teeth in. Two on the bottom, in the front and one molar. And Harvey also loves to open and close doors right now. Loves it.

The World is Mine

One of my Geography professors gave Harvey an old globe. We were visiting her office and he loved spinning it. So she gave it to him. He held it all the way home; this in a 5 speed with the car seat in the front was not so fun, it fell many times onto the gear shift. But we made it home in one piece.

Harvey has a molar coming in too. That makes three total teeth coming in right now. He has thankfully gone back to taking at least one nap during the day. He is still sleeping through the night. And our 10 month stats :)

10 Months Old Today (insert exclamation points here)

Yeah, Harvey turned 10 months old today. To celebrate we had lunch at Sean Kelly's with Kim and bought some new shoes. They are the kind with squeakers in the heel, so cute. We have a baby well check tomorrow (we did not have a 9 month check up). Harvey is a happy, healthy little guy. Love you Harv.

Happy Valentines Day Harvey!

I sent this picture to Grandpa and Nana Barb and to Mary and Kim for Valentines Day. We took this today at a park near our neighborhood. This was Harvey's first time in a swing and he loved it!

My Big Guy

We are still having napping issues. Harvey is teething again and his only symptom aside from the gum swelling is not sleeping during the day. It took two and a half hours to get him down today. He has been getting up at 7:30 am the past few days and this is not so good for me. But with lots of coffee and patience we can work this out.

During our struggle for an afternoon nap today I walked in on the wee man sitting up in his crib talking to his teddy bear. They were facing each other and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen him do. It was ADORABLE.

I bought the wee man a train table today. It was only $20 and came with several Thomas the Train trains. He likes to stand up at the table and eat the trains. We need baby friendly trains, so I will be keeping my eyes open for these items.

Harvey also crawled for the first time today in the baby store where I found the table. He crawled up on all fours for over five feet. It was AWESOME. I am so proud of my baby.

Harvey is also saying more syllables. Ma, Ma, Ba, Ba, Boui, Boui. He added Ma Ma today.

The Week of No Napping

Poor Harvster, he must be dealing with some teeth issues as he has not has a true nap in over a week; nevermore, nevermore. But things just have to get better on this front. As for the wee dude's head, he managed to pull down my metal bird sculpture on his head this week for his first major head bump :(. This piece of art is kept in my entryway and when I was sweeping the floor out the door he followed and in about two seconds managed to hurt his poor little head.

Big smiles and playing with my tub. Notice Squeakie's food bowl this is my new obsession in life. I just LOVE the noises it makes as I pull it along the floor and it is fun to put in my mouth when my mam is not looking.

The Wee Babe is Getting so Big!

Well Mr. Harvey pulled himself up today whilst in his crib! He did this shortly after I put him back in his bed in the hopes that he would fall back to sleep at 6:30 this morning. I woke to the sound of paper being ripped and there he was standing up with the zebra drawing I did for him in his hands. He did not rip it nor get a piece in his mouth. During his afternoon nap, I caught him again standing up; this time in his new sleep sack. We are trying this out. A blanket that he can wear to bed. I tried to get a picture of him at nap time but alas, no luck there. He did keep trying and trying to pull himself up. I am going to have to get something to put over the top crib rail as he has some teeth marks already started!
