27th Week Checkup

I apologize to my dedicated fans for taking so long to post something new. I have been busy working and sleeping. I got very sick with a cold this week and I am trying to recover.

I had my 27th week appointment and everything is going along just fine. I am up to 170 pounds and the baby is growing at the normal rate. When my Dr. tried to take the heartbeat the baby kept pushing the probe off of my stomach. It was pretty funny. She estimated a heartbeat of 144 after three failed attempts to get a true reading.

Dave and I are looking for a place to live. I am ready to move into a place that is more like home to me. With my things dominating the rooms, not a roommates. I do love living here, but it will be nice to have a place "of my own" again.

Jack the Cat's new pastime is relocating live mice from the kitchen to my bedroom. There, he chases the mouse around and usually looses it and I have to get Micco to catch it. The mice issue is pretty bad, but I only see them when a cat catches one. Two days ago Jackie brought one up and it climbed my curtains (above my bed Argh!) and it was peaking it's cute little head out of the top. I made my landlord/roommate get out of bed and take care of this. She put him in a jar, per my request, and threw it over the fence. He was completely brown and very cute, but not so cute in the house. No more mice will be super nice too! Jack's kills 1 to Micco's kills 2. To be fair Jack caught 2 of the total 3.
